LUSH Foot Scrub Bar

Today I eventually finished my LUSH Foot Scrub Bar that one of my best friends bought for me for my birthday. I have been waiting to use it for a time when I thought that I would need a bit of relaxing - and after today's Maths exam, I think it called for a bit of R&R.
I ran a bit of water into the bath (only feet-deep) and sat on the edge and scrubbed the bright blue dissolving foot-shaped bar onto my feet. It was absolutely heavenly and it smelt so so delicious: there was a strong lime smell coming through with maybe some other citrus fruits?? I couldn't exactly pinpoint it, but it smelt so tasty.
Afterwards, the water turned a vivid milky turquoise colour:
My feet honestly feel like velvet and I cant wait to buy some more of their products and spoil myself! I highly recommend this Foot Scrub Bar.

Also, I think that their packaging is so original and one-of-a-kind:

Time for a relaxing Friday evening now!

Wanderlust - Places I Would Love To Visit

I have heard that the only thing that we can buy that makes us richer is travelling. If I money was limitless, I would want to spend my days travelling, taking photographs and exploring different places around the world.

The places that I want to visit - in no particular order - are:
  • Scotland - Edinburgh (especially the castle!)

  • Greece - Mykonos

  • Alaska - Anchorage (to see the striking Aurora Borealis)

  • Taiwan - Pingxi in New Taipei City (to participate in the Sky Lantern Festival & to witness the architecture in the country)

  • Brazil - Rio de Janeiro

  • and who can forget London! (I want to do everything here!)

These are only a few of the places that I want to visit!
I want to see the world!!!

Introduction

So, where to begin?
Cape Town - it is my home. Lucky, right?? I am a born and bred Capetonian and extremely proud of it.
I am eighteen and currently writing my Matric final exams. Matric is the final year of high school in South Africa - also known as Grade 12. I suddenly had a urge to start this blog - dont ask me why? I mean its not like these final exams determine my future or something?
I actually decided to start this blog because, after my final exams, I will be embarking on the adventures of a two-month long summer/Christmas holiday. I am hoping that this blog will force me to do fun things that I can blog about... you know... interesting things.Things that one probably wouldn't do every day.
My aim on this blog is to eventually find my niche - but for now I'll be blogging about anything and everything interesting that I do in my day/things that are on my mind/articles that I find interesting that might interest you too.
I look forward to sharing some fun times on this blog!
See ya, Kirst!
